Additional Services

Gutter Guard Installation

Clogged gutters don’t just cause overflow, they create structural and pest vulnerabilities. When water backs up under shingles or spills over the fascia, it softens wood, loosens roof edges, and creates entry opportunities for squirrels, rodents, and insects. Damp debris sitting in gutters also becomes an ideal nesting and breeding area.

Our gutter guard systems are designed to keep debris out while allowing water to flow freely. By maintaining proper drainage, you reduce rot, prevent moisture damage, and eliminate one of the most overlooked wildlife attractants on your home.

Gutter Clean-Out

When gutters become packed with leaves, pine straw, and sediment, water has nowhere to go. Overflow can damage roofing materials, stain siding, erode landscaping, and oversaturate the soil around your foundation. That moisture doesn’t just damage your home, it attracts pests and weakens structural points animals often exploit.

Our clean-out service restores proper water flow by removing all debris and ensuring downspouts are fully operational. This simple maintenance step protects your home’s exterior and removes a common wildlife invitation point.

Roofline & Exterior Wood Repair

Soffit Inspection & Repair

The soffit, the underside of your roof overhang, is one of the most common wildlife entry points. When gutters overflow, water seeps into soffit panels and surrounding framing, causing rot, warping, and separation. Once weakened, animals can chew through or push past damaged sections to access the attic.

We inspect soffits for deterioration, gaps, and soft spots, and provide professional repair or replacement as needed. Reinforcing these areas restores the structural integrity of your roofline and eliminates easy attic access points.

Fascia Board Repair & Replacement

Fascia boards run along the roof edge and support your gutter system. When exposed to repeated moisture from clogged gutters, fascia boards can rot behind the gutter line, often unnoticed until animals exploit the damage.

We repair or replace compromised fascia boards to ensure your gutters remain securely mounted and your roof edge remains sealed. Strengthening this area protects against both water intrusion and wildlife entry.

Drip Edge Reinforcement

The drip edge is a metal flashing installed along the roofline that helps direct water into the gutters and prevent it from wicking back under shingles. When improperly installed or damaged, water can creep beneath roofing materials, leading to hidden rot and entry vulnerabilities.

We inspect and reinforce drip edge areas as needed to improve water flow and seal small gaps that animals may attempt to exploit. Proper drip edge support is a key but often overlooked component of a fully protected roofline.

Insulation Services

Attic Blown-In Insulation (R-30 Value or Specified)

Wildlife commonly target attics because insulation provides warmth, shelter, and nesting material. Once contaminated, insulation loses its energy efficiency and can harbor bacteria, parasites, and odors that linger long after animals are removed.

We install high-performance blown-in insulation at the appropriate R-value for your home, restoring thermal efficiency while eliminating nesting opportunities. Proper insulation helps regulate temperature, reduce energy costs, and create a less inviting environment for wildlife.

Remove & Dispose of Old Attic Insulation

If animals have nested in your attic, the insulation is often compromised. Droppings, urine, and nesting debris can contaminate large areas and create long-term odor issues.

Our team safely removes and disposes of contaminated insulation, preparing the attic for proper sanitation and reinstallation. This step is essential in fully resolving wildlife issues and preventing recurring odor-based attraction.

Sanitation & Restoration

Attic Decontamination / Sanitation (Per Sq Ft)

After wildlife removal, unseen contamination often remains. Bacteria, droppings, and pheromones can continue to attract new animals if not properly treated.

We provide professional-grade sanitation treatments to neutralize contaminants and restore the attic space. By eliminating biological residue, we help ensure your wildlife issue doesn’t repeat itself.

Odor Neutralization Treatment

Animals leave behind more than damage; they leave scent trails. Those odors can attract other wildlife seeking shelter.

Our odor neutralization treatments target smells at the molecular level, helping eliminate persistent wildlife-related odors and reducing the likelihood of re-entry.

Moisture & Barrier Work

Moisture is one of the biggest contributors to both structural damage and pest activity. Crawlspaces, in particular, are highly vulnerable.

Crawlspace Vapor Barrier Installation

(12 Mil Thickness or Higher – Per Sq Ft)

Exposed soil in crawlspaces releases moisture vapor that rises into your home’s structure. That moisture softens wood, increases humidity, and creates an ideal environment for insects and mold; all of which attract larger wildlife predators.

We install durable, high-thickness vapor barriers to block ground moisture and stabilize the crawlspace environment, protecting both your structure and indoor air quality.

Crawlspace Encapsulation

(Includes Liner, Tape, Fasteners)

Encapsulation seals the crawlspace from outside air and ground moisture, transforming it into a controlled environment.

By fully sealing seams, walls, and piers, we eliminate excess humidity that attracts pests and contributes to rot. This comprehensive solution significantly reduces the conditions wildlife depend on.

Crawlspace Insulation (Per Sq Ft)

Proper crawlspace insulation helps regulate temperature and reduce condensation. When temperatures fluctuate, condensation can form on wood and ductwork, creating moisture problems that invite pests.

We install insulation designed to improve efficiency while reducing the environmental factors that attract insects and rodents.

Install Crawlspace Dehumidifier

(Plumbed to Drain Away From Home)

Humidity control is critical in preventing mold growth and pest activity. Elevated humidity creates the perfect environment for insects and structural decay.

We install professional-grade dehumidifiers that are plumbed to drain properly away from your home, maintaining a dry and stable crawlspace year-round.

Crawlspace Sanitation / Disinfection

(ULV Equipment Application)

Wildlife activity in crawlspaces often leaves behind bacteria and contamination that cannot be addressed with basic cleaning.

Using ULV (Ultra-Low Volume) equipment, we apply disinfectants that penetrate hard-to-reach areas, reducing contaminants and restoring a healthier environment beneath your home.

Replace Crawlspace Door / Hatch

(Custom Build Door / Frame Work)

Damaged or poorly sealed crawlspace doors are one of the most common wildlife entry points. Even small gaps provide access for rodents, snakes, and other animals.

We custom-build and install secure crawlspace doors and frame work to eliminate gaps and reinforce this vulnerable area.

Mold Remediation

ULV Mold Treatment

Moisture and wildlife activity often go hand-in-hand with mold growth. Mold not only damages structural materials but also impacts air quality inside the home.

Our ULV mold treatment distributes a fine mist that reaches affected areas efficiently, helping treat mold concerns and restore the integrity of the space.

Our Wildlife Services

  • Inspection

A Procare wildlife technician will carefully inspect the exterior and interior of your home - including the roofline, attic, crawlspace, vents, and foundation - looking for entry points, droppings, nesting materials, chewed wires, or insulation damage. They’ll identify what type of animal is causing the issue, assess the extent of activity, and explain the best plan for safe removal and long-term prevention.

  • Treatments

After the inspection, your Procare wildlife expert will carry out the recommended work - which may include sealing entry points, installing barriers, setting traps or live traps, repairing damage, replacing soiled insulation, and sanitizing affected areas. Each step is done with precision and care to remove the problem, restore your home, and prevent future wildlife intrusions.

  • Follow-Up

Depending on the scope of work, a follow-up visit may be needed, especially for trapping or live trapping services. According to Georgia DNR regulations, live traps must be checked every 24 hours. To make this process more efficient, we can also use 24/7 trail cameras or live monitoring devices that provide remote updates through cellular technology, ensuring safe and compliant trapping at all times.
